Mine Training Society – Underground Miner Training Program
The program is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and basic skills to being a career as an underground miner. Course delivery will have a theoretical as well as practical component. Participants will be able to understand and experience many of the daily routines in an underground mining operation including extensive training using an underground equipment simulator, as well as hands on equipment.
Program is completed with a traineeship at a mine site for six rotations of two weeks each.
