Grass Roots Press offers a wide variety of general and Essential Skills building tools for all levels. Most of the tools are of Canadian content and many are First Nations specific. Their publication line consists of approximately 400 titles sold to over 4,500 customers in Canada, the United States, the UK, New Zealand and Australia.

Initiative Impact
Grass Roots Press publishes assessment tools, workbooks, photostories, biographies, and literature — publications to enhance adults’ literacy skills. As this is their main objective, they produce First Nations and Metis specific literature and workbooks featuring First Nations and Metis role models to enhance learner engagement.
